Home / Build a Duck Challenge
This challenge is based off an official LEGO® polybag set 30541. For this challenge, participants will be challenged to construct a duck using the 10 provided LEGO® bricks. The purpose of the challenge is to see the variety of ducks that will be created despite being given the same instructions and the identical bricks.

There should be enough kits to have students work as individuals (if not use groups). Give each individual a bag of parts. Instruct individuals that they should each have the following parts:
Give students approximately five to ten minutes to build their duck. You may use the LiveCounter to display five minutes of LEGO® memes with a timer while they build.
At the end of the challenge have all groups place their ducks at a shared space. Give students a chance to view the other ducks.
Optional! Allow students to vote on which duck is the best! Or worst! Or come up with your own categories.
